Hi my name is Valtteri. I am a commercial sports and outdoor photographer.

I grew up surrounded by sports, nature and outdoors. As a kiddo I was lucky to have nature close by our home in central Finland and multiple choices of activities where to choose from.

I thrive from living inside experiences. My motivation as a photographer is the capability to bring out the feeling of an experience in a visual from and serve my partners by sharing these experiences offered by nature.

Currently my lifestyle includes backcountry skiing, trail running and photography. my everyday goal is to have a situation where I can only focus on these activities.

My inspiration is the connection with my surroundings. Whether it is a geocraphical setting or people. Years in creation has taught me: best results don’t come by forcing, they come by observing and taking action by what our surroundings has to offer for us.
