Valtteri Käyhkö | Adventure over everything

My name is Valtteri. I’m an adventurer and a photographer.

I grew up surrounded by sports, nature and outdoors. As a kid I was lucky to have nature close by our home in central Finland and multiple choices of activities where to choose from.

I thrive from living inside experiences. My motivation as a photographer is the capability to bring out the feeling of an experience in a visual from and serve my partners by sharing these experiences offered by nature.

Life has brought me all the way from central Finland to live in Arctic Europe. Trough winter you can spot me free skiing and working as photographer and in adventure services. In summer time I change skis to boots and take over trails with my camera by hiking and running.

My everyday goal is to have a life where I can only focus on these activities.

My inspiration is the connection with my surroundings. Whether it is a geocraphical setting or people. Years in creation has taught me: best results don’t come by forcing, they come by trust to have the best outcome, observing and taking action by what our surroundings has to offer for us.
